Led by Michael and Louisa Kiely, Holistic Woolgrowers from the Wellington district of NSW and founders of The Carbon Coalition, a farmers' movement that is mobilising support for well-managed agricultural soils to be recognised as a carbon sink for purposes of trading carbon credits on the global emissions offset market. September 2006 "For Cool Season Grasses - SPRINGTIME BEGINS IN THE FALL"
Held on September 26, 2006, the Teleconference featured Certified Educator, Jim Howell. Jim, Daniela and Savana live at Montrose, Colorado. In 1999 Jim observed that one of his paddocks did not recover properly following a heavy grazing the autumn (fall) before. This lead to some serious searching for answers, and the uncovering of new research data that showed that productivity of plants displaying an inocuous looking autumn shoot was seriously effected the following year, if the shoot was removed. Held on August 28, 2006, the Teleconference featured Dr Pauline Roberts. Formerly a high-powered scientist, Pauline now lives at Bundella, NSW where she conducts a thriving consultancy harnessing the natural energy of the land and of its people. Pauline covered the basic principles of dowsing, how it is done, the types of 'tools' that are useful, and interpretation of results. A feature was the outstanding practical advice that came from the panel and many other participants. Subjects covered included early weaning techniques, selling policies ("It's better to sell them than smell them", said Scott Brooker), dealing with the emotional issues of forced selling, and much more.
