This is a short ASK to advise you that last week, in Washington, D.C. Allan Savory and the Africa Centre for Holistic management were jointly named as the winner of the 2010 Buckminster Fuller Challenge, awarded by the Buckminster Fuller Institute.
You can see the proceedings here here (The footage seems to take a while to load).
This is a major award. In addition to the cash prize of US$100,000, when I was talking to them today, Jody and Allan told me that it has already opened up an amazing array of future opportunities for the Savory Institute, and for speaking opportunities for Allan.
Of course, the value to the Africa Centre is immense. After many years things are now really firing there.
I will bring you up to date on other aspects of this award in the near future.
